Welcome to the Kawartha Olympic Wrestling Club (KOWC). We are a recreational and competitive wrestling club that teaches girls and boys the fundamentals of grappling, leg attacks, throws, counters and defense. The KOWC is made up of two divisions, Recreational and Competitive.  Each division is further sorted into age groups, Novice (8-9), Kids (10-11), Bantam (12-13), Cadet (14-15), Juvenile (16-17), and Junior (18-19).  The season is divided into Fall and Winter.  Fall season is precompetitive fun, skill development, and physical conditioning.  Winter season is competitive fun, skill refinement, physical maintenance, and tournaments for athletes in the competitive division.  Athletes provide their own equipment (t-shirt, shorts, running shoes or wrestling boots).

CLUB MEMBERSHIP FEE ONLY $50 FOR High School athletes, 75$ for novice, kids, and bantam to cover insurance!!

The KOWC has been in operation for over 25 years.  It continues to flourish because of generous support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, volunteer coaches, community members, parents and dedicated participants.
